Swedish Massage

 Swedish massage is the most common form of massage. A variety of strokes and techniques are applied to treat sore muscles and release tension held in the body’s tissues. Swedish Massage promotes relaxation, reduces stress and may improve circulation and release metabolic waste from tissues.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage uses firmer strokes and pressure than Swedish massage.  It is a massage technique that works the deeper layers of muscle tissue.  This type of massage seeks to break up areas of tension and muscle adhesions. Deep tissue massage may be effective for treating chronic pain.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a typical component of athletic training. This massage focuses on muscles typically stressed during athletic activities. The goal is to maximize movement and increase range of motion. Sports massage helps prevent injury and promotes healing. Athletes can benefit from regular sessions.

Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage follows the same principles of a Swedish massage; however, smooth heated stones are incorporated into the session. The stones act as an extension of the therapist's hands. Hot stones may add to a deeper sense of relaxation. Localized heat and the stone weight warm and relax muscles which allows for deeper pressure.

Prenatal Massage

This nurturing massage focuses on the special needs of mothers-to-be during pregnancy. Positioning, pillows, and cushions are used to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both body and mind. Both mother and baby share the benefits of massage as stress and tension melt away, leaving you feeling balanced and energized.

Blissful Back Massage

This 45 minute back massage begins with myofascial release techniques that apply gentle and sustained pressure to eliminate muscle restrictions. Next, a natural sugar scrub is applied to exfoliate the skin. A purifying mask of dead sea mud, clay and essential oils are also applied with heat adding to a deep sense of relaxation. The session concludes with Swedish back massage.

Chair Massage
​

Chair massage is a style of seated massage that is typically short in duration - 10 to 15 minutes.  It is performed over clothing and doesn't include the use of oil or lotion. Areas of focus in a chair massage typically include back, shoulders, neck, head, arms and hands. Chair massage is great for stress reduction. The client may feel rejuvenated and relaxed.

Full Body Stretch

This 30 minute session offers a variety of assisted stretching techniques to help increase flexibility, mobilize joints and improve range of motion. The client remains fully clothed while the therapist uses gentle massage techniques warm up muscles and facilitates stretching. Full Body Stretch may help to achieve better results than stretching on your own. Great for athletes and anyone with tight muscles.

Reiki Therapy

A form of energy therapy, Reiki helps to activate the body's natural healing and restore physical and emotional well being. Reiki may be applied during other types of treatment (e.g., Swedish or chair massage) or as a standalone therapy. It involves light, non-invasive touch and laying of hands to help promote universal energy flow and release blockages.

Off-Site Services

Off-site table and chair massage services are available in your home or office setting.  Services offered for home visits include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Chair Massage as well as Full Body Stretch and Reiki.  Additional fees will apply. Chair massage is also available for corporate wellness programs, sporting events and home parties.

Add On Services

Add any of the following services to any Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage.

Back or Foot Scrub

Scrubs exfoliate and hydrate the skin to leave it smooth and soft. Typically, scrubs are added to massage and are made with sea salt or sugar and essential oil. Following the application of the scrub, hot towels are applied. Combined with massage, a scrub can be applied to either the back or feet.   This service is not only good for the skin, but it can be deeply relaxing.​

Blissful Back Treatment
​

Add this back treatment for the ultimate in relaxation.  A natural sugar scrub will exfoliate, polish and refresh. Next, a purifying mask of dead sea mud, clay and essential oils are applied with heat. The mask can naturally detoxify, hydrate and nourish the skin, while the essential oils are rich in anti-inflammatory, desensitizing and healing properties.​ The additional heat helps to loosen muscle deeply.

CBD Lotion

Include a spot treatment of CBD (Cannabidiol) lotion to any massage. This topical product does not contain any THC and will NOT give you a "high" feeling from the marijuana plant. CBD may offer a wealth of benefits without the psychoactive properties of THC. Benefits may include reducing chronic pain and inflammation, promoting relaxation and alleviating stress and anxiety.

Cupping

Cupping may be considered a reverse massage; silicone cups are used to lift muscle tissue rather than push as in manual massage.  A specialized gliding technique helps to prevent the deep marking often associated with cupping.  Add cups to address specific areas of concern.  Benefits include: significant and quick decrease in muscle tension; deep relaxation; reduce muscle soreness, pain and swelling; and promote healing.

Essential Oil

The addition of essential oil (highly concentrated plant oil) in massage oil may promote change in the mind and body. During the massage, essential oils are inhaled and absorbed into the skin, helping to ease stress and anxiety. Essential oils have different properties; for example, lavender is calming, clary sage is uplifting, rosemary oil is energizing, and eucalyptus is decongesting.

Hot Stones

Add hot stones to a specific area of the body, such as back or legs, to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension. Heated smooth stones act as an extension of the therapists hands. The heat of the stones helps to relax muscles allowing the therapist to work deeper with lighter pressure.  This add on may help to lessen muscle restrictions and promote deeper relaxation.

Thai Herbal Ball Compress

A special blend of herbs wrapped in a muslin compress is steamed which releases the herbal aroma and medicinal properties. The compress is then applied during the massage in gentle rolling, circular and dragging motions. Since you purchase the Thai Balls, they are used exclusively for you and with proper care, they may be reused for future sessions.  
​Add On Service $10, plus $20 for the reusable compress set.

Paraffin Hand Treatment

​Give your hands a special treat.  Paraffin is a natural emollient that can help to make skin supple and soft. It adds moisture, opens ​pores and removes dead skin cells. The heat can help to increase circulation and decrease joint stiffness.  This is a great treatment for dry chapped hands, it helps with joint mobility and may reduce pain associated with
​arthritis and fibromyalgia.

please call to reschedule your appointment. Further, if you have had contact with anyone that has COVID symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.
​You will not be charged for a late cancellation under these conditions.

Full payment is due if cancellation is made with less than 24 hour notice for reasons unrelated to health conditions/sudden illness, emergencies, accident or injury or bad weather.  

Payment is due at time of treatment in the form of cash, check or credit card.  Returned checks are subject to additional fees.
